NEWS... BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
A small single bed, a toilet that doubles up as a bedside table, a sink in close enough proximity to the bed for you to brush your teeth while snuggled up in your duvet – this could be all yours for just £7.20 a night. Toilet Lift For Elderly

That’s what some travellers to Zhengzhou, the capital city of Henan province in central China, are paying to stay in a ‘micro hotel’.
The rooms are eight-square metres and feature a bed, a sink, a toilet and a kettle, all within inches of each other.
The tiny hotel went viral in China after blogger Hei Mao Zhang vlogged himself visiting, although he only stayed for a total of three hours.
He said that the rooms should be part of a larger apartment but have been ‘split into five to six small cubicles.’
Understandably, the toilet was slightly too close to the bed for Hei, who complained about the smell.
According to the hotel owner, these micro rooms are in high demand, which is slightly unsurprising given the cheap cost of the hotel.
Apparently, most of the guests to the hotel are patients or relatives using a major health centre a few hundred metres away.

However, viewers couldn’t really believe that such small rooms exist.
‘Even a prison cell is bigger than this,’ one person said.
‘It’s depressing,’ said another.
