The New Henty Enduro Junior is a Full Featured Hydration Pack for Kids - Bikerumor

Tasmania’s Henty, whom you may know from some of our past coverage of their products like the Wingman and Enduro Hydration pack, is releasing a new hydro pack for the lil’ mountain bikers in your family unit – the Enduro Junior.

The Enduro Junior is said to provide both hip and lumbar protection for kids with 1.5 liters of hydration, and tons of packability. The pack has an adjustable shoulder harness that comes in two lengths for the small ones. Snow Slider For Kids

Just like the larger Henty Enduro, the Junior has the same “innovative combination of lumbar pack/shoulder harness, providing mountain bikers with hydration and stability while carrying everything they could possibly need while riding trails”.

Henty wanted to focus on the whole family of mountain bikers with the introduction of the Enduro Junior, focusing on the younger MTB’ers. That being said with the two sizes of straps, the Enduro Junoir can be swapped between the smaller for kids/women to the larger for men.

Here’s what Henty founder Jeremy Grey had to say about that “the EnduroJunior has been designed to be the hydration pack that all mountain bikers can wear to stay energized and hydrated on a variety of rides. For kids, the EnduroJunior also protects their hips — a common injury zone — which no other product can comfortably protect while at the same time providing hydration,” He adds, “in addition, the smaller kids/women’s shoulder harness solves another common problem by ensuring a tight, secure and stable fit. And within seconds, an available larger shoulder harness can be easily swapped in so that men can enjoy the Enduro Junior too.”

Henty says that the 1.5-liter water reservoir on the Enduro Junior is positioned close to the rider’s natural center of gravity, saying that provides freedom and agility on the bike. This design also eliminates the “sweaty back syndrome” associated with conventional hydration packs.

Although the Enduro Junior has adjustable shoulder straps, giving it the stability of a backpack, the straps can be removed to wear it as a traditional lumbar pack for lighter loads.
