Estone Technology recently launched the PPC-4910, the latest addition to its industrial panel PC line. A touch panel fanless PC, it is equipped with the NXP i.MX8M Plus Quad Core ARM processor and can add up to four 1.8 GHx Cortex-A53 processors. It has onboard WiFi/BT, RS-232/485/CAN and GPIO ports, integrated AI/ML neural processing unit with up to 2.3 TOPS accelerating ML inferencing and has up to 4GB onboard LODDR4 system memory. It has dual MIPI CSI for customized camera support and can store up to 16GB. It has a 75 x 75 mm VESA mount and can operate in temperatures from 0°C- 60°C. It has a 256 x 175 x 44.5 mm footprint, and can support Android 10, Yocto Embedded Linux 5.10 kernel and Debian Linux operating systems. It is useful in a variety of machine vision and machine learning applications, including image classification, object detection, and object tracking.
