Bottega Veneta‘s rise to prominence has partially underscored the arrival of a new minimalist era, but that doesn’t mean the Italian brand has to take things seriously all the time. Behold its trio of produce-inspired keychains, crafted from leather assembled with the house’s signature Intrecciato weave.
Taking direct cues from two fruits (yes, peppers are fruits) and a vegetable, the keychain lineup includes a pineapple, corn and pepper. Each tiny collectible, ranging from 7.75” to 10”, is woven with Bottega Veneta’s layered Intrecciato weave technique using delicate lambskin. Once painted the appropriate color (and given pineapple stems or corn husk), the handcrafted tchotchkes are attached to a small length of leather cord which is then wrapped around a branded gold keyring for that extra hint of luxury. The fruit- and veggie-indebted keychains are available on Trading Post and SSENSE for $450 USD (pineapple) and $480 USD (corn, pepper).
